Built for
every kind of care
Every setting below has the same problem in a different shape. Find yours to see how this works where you are.
Been invited to Socialheads?
Staff and the people they support both arrive by invitation. If yours has landed, this is where to start.
Not listed above?
The problem is usually the same even when the setting is not, so it is worth asking.
Local authorities are usually buying for a service rather than the authority as a whole. Start with leaving care or children's homes and we can talk about the rest.
Charities and membership organisations working with young people will recognise most of the youth services page. If you run larger moderated communities, our Community plan is the one to ask about.
Mental health services are on our list, and we would rather build that page after talking to services than guess at it. The regulator and the practice differ enough from the settings above that it deserves its own work. Tell us how your service runs.
Who it is for
The same platform looks different depending on where you sit.
For young people
A way to talk to the adults supporting you that works like the apps you already use. Your number stays yours, it opens in a browser, and you are told up front who can see what.
Been invited to Socialheads?For practitioners
Your own phone, without your own number. Talk to your team and to the people you support, keep a professional boundary, and leave the record behind when you move on rather than carrying it with you.
For organisations
Communication you own rather than rent from a consumer app, with an audit trail, oversight for the people who carry the responsibility, and records you can produce when someone asks.
Working with other agencies? Not sure which one you are? Tell us how your service runs and we will point you at the right place.
