I called it the Safeguarding dashboard, and a conversation with a council showed me the same name can fit one service and not another. Plus push notifications, availability, per-service settings, a few important words, and a grant application for the fostering side.

You there?

Support cannot feel safe if harm lives two messages above it.

Socialheads gives young people a space where support is the only thing in the room.

Why Socialheads?

Safe space

Right now, a young person might be supported and bullied on the same app. Their support worker sits in the same message list as everyone else who contacts them. Socialheads gives that support a space of its own.

Inspection ready

Socialheads keeps a clear record of messages and actions, so the care your team gives is already evidenced when an inspector asks. Flagged messages and compliance reporting are built for the leads who carry that responsibility, and compliance stays yours to hold.

Confident care

  • Every message is recorded and time-stamped
  • Built-in audit trails you can produce on request
  • Clear oversight without extra admin
  • Workers have a record of every conversation
  • Managers can evidence good care at any time

Easily manage the digital care young people receive, from any device.

Payment icon

Easy communication

Invite support staff to group chats, or message young people directly. You are always in full control.

Security icon

Data security

Connections are encrypted, personal data is encrypted field by field in the database, and every access to a record is itself recorded.

Statistics icon

Safeguarding

Safeguarding is built in, not bolted on: anyone can flag a message for review, every action leaves an audit trail, and safeguarding leads get break-glass access that is logged every time.

Your digital partner

We train your team and stay available afterwards, so the tool is one less thing to think about.

What our research says

From our interviews with practitioners, 2025.

Reducing the admin workload for managing case notes would make my work easier and more effective.

Insights about a young person's progress over time would help me better support them.

Having safeguarding tools built into the platform would help me feel more confident in using it.

Improving engagement with young people would significantly improve the outcome of their care.

What people are saying

This app could be transformational for improving accessibility. The enhanced communication and engagement features help young people stay connected.

We need a safe way for staff to communicate with young people. Right now it's unsafe and unclear. An app where all conversations are recorded means we can monitor and safeguard properly.

At our mental health service, we use generic messaging apps to communicate with young people, but I've never liked it. I've always wanted an alternative, and this could be it.

It's so refreshing and exciting to learn of a messaging platform designed with safety in mind from the offset. Whilst we work to meet young people where they are online, the youth work sector has been challenged to find spaces that ethically and effectively work for young people and services.

This is the start of something huge. Often services are hesitant to embrace digital- mainly due to fear of the un-known sponsored by the undeniable risks present in the digital world. Socialheads offers a simple, but safety focussed solution to engage with young people, opening digital front doors to connect with essential support services.

I’m feeling like we’re at the beginning of something that could be very big. Youth workers have been extremely against using digital youth work, but you've literally solved that. This will open up a lot of doors.

Socialheads is secure messaging for care teams. Core starts at £3,000 a year for a single service.
